The sun is shining and mixed summer series lacrosse is back!

18 May 2023

Come along to our summer sessions and keep your skills ticking over the summer months with some friendly competition.

During the sessions we will be playing Olympic Sixes rules so competition will be fast, furious and most importantly fun!

When?

Monday evenings

  • 22nd May, 29th May, 5th June, 19th June in Edinburgh. 18:00-20:00
  • 12th June, 26th June in Glasgow. 18:00-19:30

Where?

Edinburgh – St George’s School, Garscube Terrace, EH12 6BG

There is some parking available at St George’s, or if you are travelling by public transport, the school is within easy walking distance from Haymarket.

Changing rooms will be open.

Glasgow – Garscube Sports Complex, Maryhill Road, G20 0SP

There is ample parking available at Garscube. If you are wanting to take public transport, the pitches are a 15 minute walk from Maryhill train station or the 60 bus will take you close.

Who can come?

All sessions are for members over the age of 14 of any ability. So if you are not yet a member, join today at a discounted price of £10 for adults, students and children. You can then join in as many sessions as you would like throughout the summer. This membership will be valid until August 31st 2023

What should I bring?

All equipment is provided but we recommend bringing your own mouthguard.

The Edinburgh sessions are on a grass pitch, so bring trainers or football boots.

The Glasgow sessions are on astroturf so astro shoes or trainers are suitable.

What can I expect?

The sessions will be focussed on fun game play, with a chance for everyone to mix together and make new friends whilst playing lacrosse in the sun (hopefully!..).

Do I need to register?

No! These sessions are drop in and free! So no need to register ahead of time. Just turn up with your friends
