Class List 2020 – Doug Freeman
Douglas is being inducted as an inspirational player, a positive influence and a very able, captain of the Lacrosse Scotland Men’s 2014 World Championship Squad. Overall Douglas has gained 50 caps for Scotland.
He played for Ohio Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division 3 college, in Delaware, Ohio between 2002 and 2005 and received a number of awards, including All-NCAC Defenseman and Captain in 2005.
Douglas played for Scotland in:
2008 in the European Championships, Lahti, Finland. (9th place)
2010 in the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships in Manchester, England. (7th place)
2014 in the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships in Denver, USA. (6th place Blue Division)
