As mentioned at the AGM, we are running some online sessions for Lacrosse Scotland members check below for details about the sessions and how to register. The sessions will be informal and we will be looking for lots of interaction on the night so please feel free to ask questions during the session. To help us to understand areas of interest / concern to you, it would be great if you could send questions in advance of the session. You can see all the questions (anonymised) here. If you are not a member but want to come to these sessions, please join as a supporter member (£10).


Schools & clubs fixtures 2020-21 - June 23rd

Date: June 23rd

Time: 8pm – 9pm

Description: Open discussion with club reps and schools including:

  • Discussions around plans for the 2020-21 League Season
  • Lacrosse Scotland League Rules for 2020-21
  • What clubs & schools need from Lacrosse Scotland
  • What Lacrosse Scotland needs from clubs & schools
  • Introduction to plans to grow junior lacrosse in Scotland

The objective is to gather information from our membership to help us to develop a successful programme.

What does 2020-21 look like? - 29th June

Host: Mason Robbins

Date: 29th June

Time: 8pm – 9pm

Description: This session will focus on an open discussion on Lacrosse Scotland’s Return to Play (RTP ) phases and what we are doing to support lacrosse on and off the field as we enter 2020/21. After a short presentation, the session will be driven by a moderated group discussion aimed a sharing and developing the best practices for safely returning to the game we all love.

Lacrosse Scotland Selection Policy - 15th July

Time: 8pm – 9pm

Description: This session will look to gather members’ thoughts on what a robust national team Selection Policy will look like, moving into the next cycle of major events. The Lacrosse Scotland Board seeks to have a policy that is clear and well communicated to all in our domestic game. Participants should be aware this is regarding Selection Policy and is not about eligibility to play for the national teams.

The Lacrosse Scotland eligibility criteria is unchanged and is not the subject of this discussion

Women’s Rules 2020 - 17th August

Date: 17th August 2020

Time: 7.30pm – 8.30pm

Description: An interactive session based around a presentation which will go over the changes introduced by the World Lacrosse rules which we will be playing UK-wide at all levels this season – National Schools, BUCS, Lacrosse Scotland Women’s League, schools, Home Internationals etc. This session is for anyone wanting to hear & ask about the new rules – players, coaches, teachers, umpires …. all welcome. Remember that you can ask questions in advance – so we can include some FAQs in the presentation.
