Douglas is being inducted as an inspirational player, a positive influence and a very able, captain of the Lacrosse Scotland Men’s 2014 World Championship Squad. Overall Douglas has gained 50 caps for Scotland.

He played for Ohio Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division 3 college, in Delaware, Ohio between 2002 and 2005 and received a number of awards, including All-NCAC Defenseman and Captain in 2005.

Douglas played for Scotland in:

  • 2008 in the European Championships, Lahti, Finland. (9th place)
  • 2010 in the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships in Manchester, England. (7th place)
  • 2014 in the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships in Denver, USA. (6th place Blue Division)
