Rathbones
Lacrosse Scotland is delighted to announce its three year partnership with Rathbones, one of the UK’s leading providers of investment management services. They have committed to support the growth of Lacrosse over the next three years and they would like to invite you to join them at the Rathbones Junior Home International Tournament 2012 hosted at Peffermill University Ground, Edinburgh on Sunday 18 March 2012. Rathbones will also be sending an official invitation to all members.
Lacrosse Scotland will be hosting an A & B tournament with Scotland, England and Wales. Rathbones will be presenting a prize for the best Scottish Player of the Tournament and will be providing refreshments in the clubhouse overlooking the pitches throughout the day, so do come and enjoy the Lacrosse tournament whatever the weather!
Lacrosse Scotland is making crucial steps in building the game with the support of SportScotland and we have also submitted a bid to host the U19 World Championship in 2015. Over the years so many of you have given so much to the sport and we hope that you may wish to support us again over the coming years as you see our efforts start to take effect. With this exciting event hosted by Rathbones taking place on the 18th March we would love you to be there to support us and support our Junior Scottish team.
Finally if you wish to talk to me about what we are doing at Lacrosse Scotland and the steps that we are taking to see the sport grow in a sustainable and professional way, then please do not hesitate to call me.
Thank you,
Julia Clarke President
One of our players has taken the initiative to sign the squad up for an “easyfundraising” account which works like this: easy fundraising is a site that gives a donation to our cause every time one of our supporters shops online at one of the many listed retailers, including Amazon, Apple and Tesco online, to name just a few. If you buy things from these sites through the links easyfundraising.com, a certain percentage of your purchase will be donated.
Check it out at this link http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/scotlandu19lacrosse.
Another part of the site is http://scotlandu19lacrosse.easysearch.org.uk this is a search engine, similar to google, but every time you make a search you generate a small donation for Scotland lacrosse.
