Lacrosse Scotland are continuing to show their support and thanks to the amazing volunteers who help deliver the sport across Scotland. This month we would like to give our thanks to volunteer, Scottish Student National Women’s Lacrosse Squads Head Coach, Sue MacLean.
Sue’s dedication to run the Scottish Student National Women’s Lacrosse Squad will be crucial to the success of the women’s student game in Scotland. The Student Performance Squad also acts as a pathway to the performance programme with Scotland Lacrosse Women. Without Sue, this vital part of the pathway would not run and the students would not experience the national set up.
Sue is certainly one of the most dedicated Lacrosse Scotland members. Her passion has meant she has dedicated her own time to select the squad. This has meant Sue attending two trials for the squad back in Scotland at the Scottish Student Tournament and the open trials in January. Sue has also taken significant time to carefully select her squad this month and will be managing the squad at their games against Durham University (29th January) and Newcastle University (4th February).
We want to thank Sue for her dedication and we look forward to working with her more.
