On top of our 5 schools who have been Lacrosse Scotland members for a number of years (Fettes College, St George’s, Loretto, St Leanords and Glenalmond College), Lacrosse Scotland are proud to introduce George Herriot’s and Longridge Towers School to the Lacrosse Scotland playing family. The national coaching staff have also been doing 1-2-1 sessions with these schools and a CPD day is scheduled for early 2016 for a networking and training day. If you are at these schools and want to get in contact about playing, please contact email@example.com who will lead you in the right direction.

The Royal High School - Secondary Aged Pupils (Aged 12+)
A lacrosse after school club for secondary school pupils (aged 12+) is launching in Edinburgh on Wednesday the 31st of August 2016. The club is open to girls and boys who are aged 12 or over and would like to play lacrosse. This means any young person (12+) from the Edinburgh, Lothains, Fife or Borders can attend.
The sessions will run from 5-6pm at the Royal High School Edinburgh. The sessions will be every Wednesday during the school term and will cost an individual just £1 to attend each session. The sessions are being delivered by a highly experienced lacrosse player who has UKCC coaching qualifications. This ensures a high quality, fun and safe session for the young person.
The first session on Wednesday the 31st of August 2016 will also be delivered by Coach Dave Simpson, the women's national squad head coach.
In Edinburgh, there is now a primary aged after school club (Broughton High School, ages 6-12) and a secondary aged (The Royal High School, ages 12+). Each club is linked with a local lacrosse club and there is now a clear pathway for sustained lacrosse participation. We hope to develop a similar model in the Glasgow and Aberdeen regions shortly.
