Thank your Volunteers Now
Starting January 2017
Along with the Volunteer of the Month awarded by Lacrosse Scotland to key individuals who have given their up most to deliver, promote and organise lacrosse in Scotland, we would like to promote lacrosse volunteers on a wider scale. Volunteers are at the heart of lacrosse delivery throughout the county and we will recognise this.
The monthly volunteer report will allow Lacrosse Scotland to report on key volunteer work delivered throughout Scotland ensuring volunteers are recognised for their volunteering hours, no matter how big or small the project undertaken may be.
If you are a club leader, this is an opportunity to promote your volunteers activities and to thank them on a national scale. You may have a coach who has taken a session this month, a committee member who has shown commitment and has gown club capacity or a member who goes out their way to officiate your games to ensure your club can play lacrosse. No matter the contribution to lacrosse in Scotland, big or small, we would like to give you the opportunity to thank your volunteers on a regular basis.
From 2017, Lacrosse Scotland will be delivering a monthly volunteer report where we discuss your volunteers activities and say thank you. We hope this recognition will ensure they continue to contribute and grow lacrosse in Scotland. This report will also ensure the national governing body is fully aware of the voluntary contributions throughout the country.
To develop these reports and ensure your volunteers are thanked, all we need is information on the volunteering being undertaken within your community. Please fill out the form found by clicking the clink below with a description of the activity being undertaken. To ensure your volunteer is thanked each month, please ensure the form is filled out by the last Friday of every month.
Each volunteer report will be stored here, and you can also find more details on how to submit by following the link.
