MENS > Rules and Refereeing
We play to FIL (formerly ILF) rules and regulations.
Please see the FIL website for the latest version:

The Scottish Men’s Lacrosse League has two exceptions to these rules:
(1) If at the end of normal time in a league match the scores are level, the result is a draw.
(2) for the 2011-12 season, minimum stick width at head is 4 inches (FIL rules are 6 inches).
Note that dispensation (2) will be removed at the end of the 2011-12 season
Note that for BUCS matches all sticks must comply with the new regulation – the minimum width of the stick at its widest point must be six inches rather than four inches.
Rules and Refereeing Courses
We intend to run a course in Scotland during the 2011-12 season, over the weekend of 15th & 16th October, so keep those dates in your diaries. Venue to be arranged.
